Sunday July 31st Family Entertainments present Lars Frederiksen & The Old Firm Casuals plus Control, Marching Orders & Skingraft @ Digital Brighton
Danish-Italian guitarist and vocalist Lars Erik Frederiksen is most known for being a member of punk rock band Rancid, and as the frontman of Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards and The Old Firm Casuals. He was also briefly a member of the U.K. Subs in 1991. He describes The Old Firm Casuals as a new ‘American Oi!’ side project which consists of himself, Casey Watson (bass/vocals) and Paul Rivas (drums/vocals). Fans will be delighted to hear that they are releasing a new 7” on Oi! The Boat label. He also owns and works at Skunx Talttoo Parlour in Tokyo – didn’t know that did you?! Well maybe you did …. They are joined on this Oi! Bill by Control (formerly Intensive Care & Beerzone), Marching Orders and Skingraft. Expect it to be loud, raw and totally lacking convention – oh yes!
