Band applications for the Floating Globe Stage at Lakefest 2014 are now OPEN.
Lakefest is looking for acts to perform on the floating globe stage at this year’s festival. Appearing at the festival alongside SNAP!, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Neville Staple, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Ade Edmondson and the bad Shepherds, this is an opportunity for local bands, unsigned or up and coming or anyone looking for venues this year.
Lee Martin, Lakefest organiser says “Lakefest is all about family friendly fun, giving music lovers the chance to enjoy a relaxed festival atmosphere. The floating globe stage features a really wide range of music who wouldn’t normally get a chance to play at festivals, but who have a devoted and established following!”
Applications from original bands, duos and solo artists will all be accepted. Applications can be made by emailing links to their website and music to play@thefloatinglobe.co.uk. CDs or MP3s won’t be accepted and applications close on Tuesday 3rd March.
Lakefest 2014 is fast approaching and tickets are selling fast. Tickets should be purchased sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment!
