Multinational garage rockers KING SALAMI & THE CUMBERLAND 3 headline a free one-day minifest in East London this Sunday.
The What’s Cookin’ Sunday Picnic, organised by local live music promoters What’s Cookin’, also features sets from Damaged Goods Records duo COWBELL, new Dirty Water signings OH! GUNQUIT, SIMON ONIONS of 80s goth-punks ZOODOLL, BIG GIRLS featuring ex-members of FABULOUS PENTETRATORS and loads more.
Part of the annual Leytonstone Festival, the event takes place in Henry Reynolds Gardens, London E11 from midday to 8pm. Although it’s free, donations are welcomed which all go to the bands.
Formed in 2006 by members of THE ULCERS, CHINESE LUNGS and THE PARKINSONS, King Salami & The Cumberland 3 have toured the world, releasing records on Dirty Water, Soundflat, Disk Union and Off The Hip. Their latest album is Cookin’ Up A Party.
