Brighton grunge-punks HONEYBADGER have just dropped a new EP.
The six-track State Of Play was produced by local producer Paul Win and finds the trio comparing favourably with the likes of Queens Of The Stoneage, Senseless Things and Jacob's Mouse
“At its core, State of Play is a reflection of modern pressure, digital disconnection and societal unrest," they proclaim. "It tackles a world where people hide behind screens, truth is distorted at the flick of a switch, and power operates increasingly in the shadows. It’s our most raw expression of release in a world where no one can hear you scream. No polish, no Mr nice guy - just exactly how it feels to exist right now.”
After a summer off, the band head down to the southwest in September for the Burn It Down (3-5 Sept) and Little Orchard (11-13 Sept) festivals, followed by The Grace, London (2 Oct) and Bristol's Attitude festival on 3 October.
