Finnish rockers DHARMA GUNS have a new video which they're premiering exclusively with Vive Le Rock!
'M.I.D.L.I.F.E. Crisis' is the Helskini mobsters' third single this year and a precursor to their debut album Ex-Generation Superstars which is due out in November.
The latest in a grand Scandi tradition fusing glam, sleaze and action rock, the Guns were put together less than a year ago by Pete Leppänen, a guitarist and songwriter with an impressive track record with the likes of Huuto!, Dead Fun and Turun Romantiikka. Stepping up to the mic for the first time, he's joined in the enterprise by bassist Edu Kettunen (Bad Valentines, Plastic Tears), guitarist Jussi Kukkoniemi (Vanity Ink) and drummer Ölli Vartiainen(Jo Below, Mönni).
Playing their first rehearsal in November '23, the quartet already had the album in the can by the following June, when debut single 'Life Choices' dropped with 'Love Bug' arriving two months later.
“Some guys buy fast cars and fell for younger women," says Leppänen of 'M.I.D.L.I.F.E. Crisis'. "Others purchase expensive guitars and hang them on the wall. And some of us wish to leave a mark in history and/or do the right thing. The verse riff is a bit ‘Stonesian’ whereas the chorus of the song is a classical punk rock sing-a-long.”
