IF THERE'S A WRONG WAY TO DO IT...

Proto-New Wavers DEALING WITH DAMAGE return this week with a brand new single and video.

'Wrong Sometimes' is a first taste of the London quintet's forthcoming third album The London Particular, the follow-up to 2023's Use The Daylight.

Their first release through Sunderland DIY label and music collective Serial Bowl, 'Wrong Sometimes' is "a response to the relentlessly depressing news cycle of the doomscroll era," while the album takes its title from the name for the thick all-enveloping fog that the Capital was prone to from the 13th Century 'til the 1950s/60s and the implementation of the Clean Air Act.

"This was because of all the particles in the air,” explains singer/guitarist Ed Wenn. "Hence The London Particular. It describes a dangerous smog, and it sounds like a newspaper title, so we thought it was a good vehicle for our take on the fog of shit that's going on in the world at the moment with the added nod to our hometown where the album was written, rehearsed and recorded.”

Dealing With Damage celebrate the single release with a free show at Aces & Eights in Tufnell Park, North London on Saturday 25 October, with support from Dinosaur Skull.
