The rebirth of the legendary Chiswick Records label continues with a limited edition 7" from London garage-rock hoods HIS LORDSHIP.
The band fronted by Pretenders guitarist James Walbourne deliver a steamin' cover of Chuck Berry's 'Nadine' in honour of the Father Of Rock'n'Roll's 100th birthday this October. the single will be backed by a recording of Chuck's original.
They've also recorded a whole album of Chuck covers, titled Promised Land, which will be released through Psychonaut Sounds/PIAS on 13th November.
Set for release on 30th October, the 7-inch of 'Nadine' is available to pre-order here.

To coincide, His Lordship have announced a pair of shows at London's iconic 100 Club. Billed as All Cranked Up - 2 Nights Of Maximum Rock'n'Roll, the first show on 17th November will feature guests Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes, Bobby Gillespie and Andrew Innes of Primal Scream, Nick Lowe, Spider Stacey of The Pogues and comedian Dave Hill - tickets
The second night on 18th November will be a special celebration of Chuck Berry with Charles Berry and Charlie Berry III, Chris Robinson and Kathy Valentine of The Go Go’s - tickets
