Rumour has it that the original line-up of THE HELLACOPTERS, featuring guitarists Nicke Andersson and Dregen, will reunite to play the Sweden Rock festival next year.
The reunion will mark the 20th Anniversary of the band's Swedish Grammy-winning debut album Supershitty To The Max. The album will also be getting the deluxe reissue treatment to coincide.
Sweden Rock takes place in Solvesborg from 8-11 June.
The Hellacopters originally came together in 1994 when BACKYARD BABIES guitarist Dregen hooked up with Andersson, at that time drumming for ENTOMBED. Dregen left after two albums, subsequently playing with MICHAEL MONROE, while the Hellacopters continued for another ten years.
Both musicians have been active this year, Dregen rejoining Backyard Babies' for the comeback album Four By Four, and Andersson issuing a new album, Honk Machine, with IMPERIAL STATE ELECTRIC.
