HAWKWIND RELEASE ROUNDHOUSE SHOW!

HAWKWIND RELEASE ROUNDHOUSE SHOW!

HAWKWIND are set to release a new live album in December, recorded at their first Roundhouse show in 40 years.
The band returned to the iconic London venue in May of this year, 45 years on from the legendary Greasy Truckers Party with MAN and BRINSLEY SCHWARZ, when the band recorded the original version of 'Silver Machine' with Bob Calvert on vocals.
The new 2 CD/DVD set At The Roundhouse features a set rich in highlights from their 70s career, including 'Born To Go', 'You'd Better Believe It', 'The Golden Void' and 'Steppenwolf' plus tracks from their two most recent Top 40 albums The Machine Stops and Into The Woods.
For the encore, the band were joined by  guitarist Phil Campbell on 'Brainbox Pollution' and 'Silver Machine'.
“Yes, it was really good fun playing back at The Roundhouse,” explains Dave Brock. “After not playing there since 1977 (when we had Motörhead support us), it brought back many fine memories for me. Great venue!!”
The set is completed by a DVD of the gig, bringing John Moules' incredible lightshow into your frontroom.
Set for release on 8 December through Cherry Red, At The Roundhouse is available to pre-order here.
