HAGITATION FOR THE NATION!

HAGITATION FOR THE NATION!

Rejuvenated anarcho darlings HAGAR THE WOMB have their new record out just in time for their Rebellion appearance.

The six-track Hagitate EP was recorded by Medway legend Jim Riley at Ranscombe Studios in Rochester and is released via Kent DIY label Grow Your Own on 10" black/red marbled vinyl and CD and is available through Bandcamp and at Rebellion.

The six-piece band are arguably even more popular now than when they formed in the bogs of Wapping Autonomy Centre in 1981, releasing the infamous EPs Word Of The Womb on CONFLICT's Mortarhate label and Funnery In A Nunnery on Abstract. They were later cited as a huge influence on the 90s Riot Grrrl movement.

Since reconvening for the release of the US compilation A Brighter shade Of Black in 2012, they've issued new material on All The Madmen and Grow Your Own and the comprehensive anthology Hagiography in 2016.

Hagar The Womb play the Saturday at Rebellion, at 8.50pm on the Pavilion Stage.

On 15 September, the band play their first ever US show at the Near Dark Festival in Oakland, California.

As previously announced, they also headline LOUD WOMEN's Fourth Birthday Party at The Hope & Anchor, Islington, London on 12 October.
