EMPRESS OF FUR – Female-Led Voodoo-Billy!
*This freaky four-piece from Fenland farming country look like the bastard offspring of an unholy four-way bunk-up between Bettie Page, Zorro, Uncle Fester and Mr Macphisto. They sound like the equally unwanted children of the Cramps, Link Wray, Nancy Sinatra and the Rezillos. They just wanna be loved….

THE DALSTON DEVIL TRIO – Ragtime Ompa Trash!
*They are a rather devilish trio from (yes you guessed it, Dalston!) and comprise of the amazing lap steel player Paul Snakecraft along with Ane Angel on tuba and Paul-Ronney Angel on vocals/banjo/guitar. Expect covers of Tom Waits, Hank Williams & John Lee Hooker like you've never heard them before!

BANJOEY RAMONE - Skiffle Punk'n'Roll!
* We are very happy to host these guys first ever show! They are all regulars at the Gypsy Hotel bar and have previous drinking and playing experience with amongst The Men They Couldn’t Hang, Fastlane Roogalator, The Grit, The Yo Yo’s and The Urban Voodoo Machine! We smell a PARTY!

TRIXIE SPARKLE - Regal Burlesque!
*A heady and uniquely delicious blend of sass, sparkling charisma and stage presence, Trixee Sparkle’s magical stardust sprinkles the room with every performance. Cavorting on her throne, riding her giant revolver, or dazzling with a classic showgirl routine, Trixee is unforgettable.

* Marnie Scarlet is a tough cookie to categorize. Creating performances incorporating play piercing and striptease, which nonetheless can be readily interpreted as feminist statements, she is also a skilled costume designer - whose threads invariably standout, whether seen onstage at a burlesque or fetish event.

JOHN E VISTIC - Bleeding Heart Country Blues!
*Songs about love, death and the end of the world'; Vistic recently released his new sweat and blood rock n roll album 'Modern Love', produced by Paul Corkett (Nick Cave etc) to high acclaim, he is winner of numerous songwriting awards, and has recorded and toured extensively.

dj SCRATCHY - Resident Wax-Spinner!
*Scratchy has been our resident DJ, compere and musical guidance since the beginning of the club. He has toured the world as a warm up DJ for The Clash, Gogol Bordello, Dr Feelgood, The Urban Voodoo Machine and The Pogues
amongst others. Do not ask him to play Madonna! Do check out his weekly radio show though!
