London glam-punk legends THE DeRELLAS trail their forthcoming fifth album with a brand new single and video.
'Just Because I Smile, It Doesn't Mean I Like You' is the first track to be revealed from Trust Me, This Is Going To Hurt, which is out through the band's own Rockaway label in March.
"Spawned by a world of plastic smiles and fakery, 'Just Because I Smile, It Doesn't Mean I
Like You' looks beneath the veneer of our increasingly AI existence, exposing the rotten
venal motives and the very real damage it does to all of us," say the band. "Imagine Alice Cooper as Taxi Driver’s Travis Bickle... 'You smiling at me?'.”
The band will play a special album launch gig in London's Water Rats on 10 April, followed by dates across the UK and Europe, including an appearance at Rebellion in August.
