GREENDAY-SMALL SHOW-N' MASSIVE GIGS!

VIVELEPUNK saw Greenday infront of 200 people at Londons Garage as they played as their 60s alter ego-the Foxboro Hot Tubs. Its was bloody marvellous! They have just announced  massive shows for next year-details below

Green Day Announce first outdoor shows since the release of Œ21st Century Breakdown¹; tour includes the band¹s first ever Wembley Stadium show ³The fact that 20,000 people holler every word of American Idiot¹s rejection of a ³redneck agenda² is both exhilarating and encouragingŠ It¹s all perfectly pitched and unexpectedly fantastic² The Guardian, 23/10/09, London O2 ³The beauty about this gang of gracefully grown-up punks is how they have mastered the art of making the orchestrated seem improvised and how they make every voice in the room feel like it¹s the most important² Kerrang!, 20/10/09, Belfast Odyssey Arena ³Green Day¹s greatest accomplishment is the manner in which they¹ve constructed a supremely cohesive whole out of such seemingly disparate parts. The characters, themes and motifs that recur throughout 21st Century Breakdown are marshalled into an engrossing narrative that recalls both Bruce Springsteen and novelist Chuck Palahniuk² Observer Music Monthly review of the Œ21st Century Breakdown¹ album Green Day¹s recent sold-out tour wowed audiences with the band¹s inimitable combination of frenzied punk energy, theatrical flourishes and euphoric crowd participation.
