THE GODFATHERS have announced a brand new studio album for release in September.
Alpha Beta Gamma Delta is the band's first new full-length since A Big Bad Beautiful Noise back in 2017. Since then they've undergone a major line-up overhaul, with guitarists Richie Simpson and Wayne Vermaak, bassist Jon Priestley and drummer Billy Duncanson joining founder and frontman Peter Coyne.
“Alpha Beta Gamma Delta is definitely one of the very best albums The Godfathers have ever made - it’s exciting, dark, dangerous contemporary rock & roll!” states Coyne.
Produced by Priestley, the 13-track album follows on from the double A-side single 'I'm Not Your Slave' c/w 'Wild And Free' released back in 2020, and is set for release on 16 September through Godfathers Recordings2.
The album release will be preceded on 26 August by a 4-tack EP Midnight Rider, featuring the album tracks 'Midnight Rider' and 'OCD' plus two tracks exclusive to this release, 'When The Cowards Fall' and 'Fade Away'.
The Godfathers will soon be announcing tour dates to coincide with the release of the album.
Alpha Beta Gamma Delta and Midnight Rider are both available to pre-order here.
