THE GODFATHERS have announced a special London date next year to coincide with the release of their eighth studio album.
This will be the first to feature the newly retooled five-piece line-up - guitarists Mauro Venegas and Steve Crittall, bassist Darren Birch and drummer Tim James joining original frontman Peter Coyne - which tore the roof off the Vive Le Rock stage at this year's Camden Rocks and headlined the Motorbeach Festival in northern Spain.
The band have spent the past month recording the album in Birmingham with engineer Paul Gray, the man responsible for the no frills/all action sound on the hotly-rated debut album by BLACK BOMBERS.
The Godfather play the O2 Academy, Islington on Saturday 11 February. Tickets are on sale here.
