From Italy's Time To Kill Records - the label that brought us yob rockers Mad Rollers - come Roman hardcore mob FELDSPAR.
Formed just last year on the doorstep of the Vatican City, and describing themselves as “Godless folk two blocks from the Pope”, the six-piece are set to drop their debut album Old City New Ruins in September.
To prepare ourselves, they've given us the righteous and rampaging 'Cobblestones'; accompanied by a video by director Roberto 'Saku' Cinardi, noted for his work with such artists as Lacuna Coil as well as various TV shows and films, the the song is a paean to the band's home city...
“The track is a snapshot of Rome, a love song in a sense, depicting the band's conflicted relationship with the city and the eternal clash between the forces of the establishment and those who oppose it," comments frontman Riccardo Zamurri.
