New post-punk one-day festival FOREVER NOW has announced the line-up for its spoken word stage, The Echo Chamber.
As previously announced, Forever Now takes place Milton Keynes Bowl on 22 June, featuring Krafwerk, The The, Billy Idol, Death Cult, Johnny Marr, Psychedelic Furs, Peter Murphy, Happy Mondays, The Damned, The Jesus & Mary Chain and more.
Hosted by musician, journalist and author John Robb, The Echo Chamber will feature live interviews throughout the day from The Damned's Rat Scabies; Martha Davis, renowned frontwoman of The Motels; The Chameleons’ frontman Mark Burgess; American actress and vocalist of Berlin, Terri Nunn; Kirk Brandon and Stan Stammers from Theatre of Hate; and Richard Jobson of The Skids and The Armory Show, with more to be announced.
Says Robb, "I’m looking forward to going head to head with some of the key bands at Forever Now to get to the core of who they are and what they do and why they are here at Forever Now!"
