ELEGANTLY WASTED

ELEGANTLY WASTED

Rejuvenated post-punk legends WASTED YOUTH head north for a pair of shows next weekend.

Originally formed in 1979, Wasted Youth played shows with the likes of the Only Ones, Modern English and The Psychedelic Furs, supporting the band on their infamous 1981 Talk Talk Talk tour. Prematurely imploding following the release of their debut album Wild and Wandering, guitarist Rocco Barker soon resurfaced in Flesh For Lulu.

Reforming in 2021, the band sold out their first reunion show in three hours before being invited to open for the Furs at their Royal Albert Hall show.

Recently seen airing brand new material at a sold-out show at London's MOTH Club, the crepuscular East Londoners have lined up shows in Northampton and Manchester. Dates are...

Fri 5 July - Black Prince, Northampton - tickets

Sat 6 July - YES, Manchester - tickets

The remastered and reissued Wild and Wandering and the Ken Scott demo collection Before, After & Later are available now from Bandcamp.
