NYC rockers ELECTRAJETS celebrate the release of their debut album this autumn with a pair of UK shows.
This hot-to-trot rock'n'roll supergroup, led by guitarist Jeff Ward of Birmingham glam-punk legends GUNFIRE DANCE, first formed in 2015, bringing together bassist Cynthia Ross of NYC vets THE B-GIRLS and NEW YORK JUNK, and drummer Dahm Majuri Cipolla of PHANTOM FAMILY HALO and Japanese instrumentalists MONO.
The album Transatlantic Tales, was produced by Ward and recorded by Martin Bisi (Sonic Youth, Live Skull, Bill Laswell) at Brooklyn's famed BC Studio and features a guest appearance from Thee Hypnotics' Ray Hanson. It's out now through Tarbeach.
ElectraJets play...
Fri 8 Nov – Sunflower Lounge, Birmingham
Sat 9 Nov – The Unicorn, Camden, London
They'll be joined at both shows by Birmingham power trio BLACK BOMBERS, who feature Ward's former Gunfire Dance oppo Darren Birch on bass and recently released the 6-track mini album Vol 4 through Easy Action to huge acclaim.
