Formed in 1997 by songwriter Gareth Liddiard, The Drones have earned a reputation as one of the best live bands in Australia, receiving the inaugural Australian Music Prize for their second album Wait Long By the River And The Bodies Of Your Enemies Will Float By. Their most recent album was 2013’s acclaimed I See Seaweed.
