Belgian twang-punks HARVESTERS have just unveiled their debut album.
At Rosie's Palace was hammered together live in the studio with Sore Losers' Cedric Maes and Allessio Di Turi at the desk, resulting in a suitably caustic production commanded by an itchy sibilance and a thrilling guitar sound like a rusty oil-drum being cleaned with a scythe.
Veterans of the Ghent underground scene, Harvesters comprise members of such bands as Blackup, The Sloofs, Leopard Skull, Hitch, A Clean Kitchen Is A Happy Kitchen, Grand Blue Heron, with support slots with Jon Spencer & The Hitmakers,The Lords Of Altamont and Ayron Jones plus an appearance at the legendary Sjock Festival and reviewers dropping names like Sonic Youth, Robin Trower (?!), Chuck Berry and Red Lorry Yellow Lorry. We'll throw Thin White Rope into the mix too.
Released by Kraan Music Co through Jezus Factory, At Rosie's Palace is available on vinyl here.
