DIED ALIVE!

DIED ALIVE!

Australian underground rock legends DIED PRETTY have announce the release of their first ever live album.

Formed in 1983, the Sydney five-piece released their classic debut album Free Dirt in 1986. Widely regarded as a landmark release of the era, it cemented their role on the international scene as part of the Aussie underground explosion.

The band's fourth album, 1991's Doughboy Hollow saw them breach the Australian Top 40 for the first time, earning them three ARIA music award nominations, for best album and best single and video for the track 'DC'.

The new live album was recorded in 2008, when the band celebrated Doughboy Hollow during the Don't Look Back series of shows. Died Pretty Live features the whole of that album plus favourites including the classic singles 'Stoneage Cinderalla', 'Blue Sky Day' and 'Everybody Moves'.

Released on limited edition double vinyl (with bonus track 'Whitlam Square') and CD, Died Pretty Live is available now here.

The band have announced a trio of Australian theatre shows for later in the year...

Fri 13 Oct - Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Sat 21 Oct - Princess Theatre, Brisbane
Fri 27 Oct - National Theatre, Melbourne
