DHARMA CHAMELEONS!

DHARMA CHAMELEONS!

Finnish 'dandy punks' DHARMA GUNS are back with a new single and video.

'King Of Action Rock' is a first taste of the band's second album, the follow-up to the highly praised Ex-Generation Superstars, which came out last November.

“We figured the first single should be like a kick in the crotch," laughs singer and guitarist Pete. "With the second one, we can think about shades and nuances—provided the listener has gotten back on their feet...

“Last winter our guitarist Jussi was listening to the Norwegian band The Good The Bad And The Zugly and dreamed of a wah-wah guitar solo. So we gave him a slot to play wah. We tipped our hats to those Norwegian action rockers and crowned ourselves kings,” Pete recalls about the song’s creation.

“Songs are always kind of documents of their time, and this one is a statement too," he muses. "If the king of action rock ruled the world, the world would be a far more glorious place."

The video is the handiwork of multitasking drummer Olli Vartiainen, who handled shooting, editing and directing, as well as some very fine acting.

'King Of Action Rock' will be available to stream/download from this Wednesday 15 October on all the usual platforms.
