DEALING WITH DAMAGE UNVEIL NEW VIDEO

London post-punks DEALING WITH DAMAGE herald their forthcoming album with a new lyric video.

'John's Gone' is the first single to be taken from Use The Daylight, which follows on from band's 2020 debut album Ask The Questions.

The track is a tribute to the band's producer John Hannon, who died suddenly having completed fifty per cent of the recording for Use The Daylight at his No Recording Studios in Essex. The work was completed with Par Collier at Perry Vales Studios in South London

"[John's] unexpected passing came as a huge shock and left a gaping hole," say the band. "His sessions were always relaxed, creative and fun and he had a never-ending cache of wonderful stories. ‘John’s Gone’ is the band’s take on what made him unique and why they loved him so much. It’s one way that Dealing With Damage is able to say thank you to him for all the amazing times and pay tribute to a genuine creative force."

Formed in 2015 from members of Sink, Done Lying Down, K-Line and Jerry Built, among others, Dealing With Damage have along the way shared stages with the likes of Soulside, Moving Targets, Messthetics, Diaz Brothers, Danger!Man, Ruts DC among many others.

Set for release through Little Rocket Records on 27 Jan, Use The Daylight is available to pre-order here.
