Iconic US mover and shaker DANNY FIELDS is the subject of a new documentary to be screend in UK cinemas from next week.
Since the mid-60s, Fields has played a pivotal role in the shaping of rock'n'roll history as a behind-the-scenes connector, working first as a journalist hanging out at Warhol's Factory then as publicist at Elektra Records, building the career of THE DOORS, before going on to manage THE STOOGES, MC5 and THE RAMONES.
Named after the Ramones song, Danny Says, by filmmaker Brendan Toller, tells Fields' story through candid testimony from the likes of Iggy Pop, Alice Cooper. Tommy Ramone, Wayne Kramer, Lenny Kaye, Jac Holzman and, of course, Fields himself.
