DADDY LONG LEGS ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM!

NYC blues insurrectionists DADDY LONG LEGS have announced the release of a new album.

Street Sermons is the Brooklyn band's fourth full-length and second for Yep Roc, following on from 2019's Lowdown Ways, which reached no.4 on the Billboard Blues Chart.

For the recording of the new album, the band decamped to Catskill in upstate New York, to work with Oakley Munson of Black Lips in the producer's chair, along with special guests John Sebastian of The Lovin' Spoonful and Wreckless Eric.

Speaking of the album's title track, frontman Brian Hurd says “We were upset about a lot of things when we wrote this song and one thing that struck me was that there was a real lack of meaningful protest songs being written at the time so we decided to take matters into our own hands.”
