CULT FIGURES ALBUM LAUNCH!

CULT FIGURES ALBUM LAUNCH!

Rejuvenated post-punks CULT FIGURES have announced a special London date next month.

The formerly Birmingham, now London-based band will be launching their fourth album Reports Of People with a show at Paper Dress Vintage in Hackney on Wednesday 22 April.

Support comes from Silver Biplanes and Dreamcoaster.

Originally formed in 1977 on the same fertile West Midlands scene that also produced Swell Maps, Spizz Energi, TV Eye and later, Duran Duran, the band produced the classic 'Zip Nolan' single for Swell Maps' Rather label, earning the approbation of the great John Peel.

After a 35-year hiatus, the band reconvened in 2016, releasing the debut album The 166 Ploughs A Lonely Furrow.

Tickets for the album launch are available here.

Released through Precious Recordings Of London on 24 April, Reports Of People is available to pre-order here.
