The four-CD Cock Sparrer: The Albums 1978 - 1987 kicks off with the band's rare self-titled debut, originally only released in Spain, and bolstered here by 5 bonus tracks. This is followed by the now classic Shock Troops album, fully remastered from the original tapes and also including three bonus tracks.
Disc three is their third studio album Running Riot In '84, with the set completed by the 1987 live album Live And Loud!!
With the whole project overseen by Sparrer guitarist Daryl Smith, with full input from the rest of the band, the set is rounded out with a fully illustrated booklet.

This will be followed in August by Cock Sparrer: The Albums 1994 - 2017, which brings the extremely influential band's story right up to date, culminating in last year's acclaimed album Forever.
