BLEACH FOR THE STARS!

BLEACH FOR THE STARS!

Belfast alt-rockers WYNONA BLEACH herald their forthcoming second album with a brand new single and video.

The pummelling, cathartic 'Be Positive' is taken from Animal Style, which is out in May through Fierce Panda and follows on from their 2022 debut Moonsoake.

"When nostalgia may seem your only way to feel positive about the future, it might be best to kill your darlings," say the the band of the track. "With that being said, we wanted to feature a big 'Phil Collins' snare in it, so armed with the cheapest lexicon reverb rack unit we could find (an MPX100) and without the ability to change the duration of the snare reverb, we wrote the entire song around that snare sound - that we recorded analog. The track title is a nod to one of the band members blood type, and a nod to goth rock heroes of ours, Type O Negative.”

Formed in 2018, the band recorded their debut album in an abandoned factory in Portugal following an Irish tour as special guests to Alice In Chains. Produced by the band's Jonny Woods with Andy Bradfield and Avril Mackintosh - known for their work with the likes of The Answer, Breed 77 and Bjork - the formula worked so well that the team is back again for another go.

'Be Positive' is available to stream/download here.

Set for release on 29th May, Animal Style is available to pre-order here.
