Guitarist BILLY BREMNER has announced a pair of rare UK shows with his band ROCKFILES.
A onetime member of LULU's backing band, Bremner came to fame as guitarist in the pub rock supergroup ROCKPILE alongside Dave Edmunds, Nick Lowe and Terry Williams. He then went on to play with THE PRETENDERS on their hit 'Back On The Chain Gang' as well as playing numerous sessions with the likes of ELVIS COSTELLO, CARLEN CARTER and SHAKIN' STEVENS, as well as enjoying a solo career with Stiff Records. More recently he's been working in Sweden with THE REFRESHMENTS and with DUCKS DELUXE frontman Sean Tyla in THE TROUBLE BOYS, taking their name from his song, notably covered by Dave Edmunds and Thin Lizzy.
Billy Bremner's Rockfiles play The 100 Club, London on Wednesday 23 January. Tickets are on sale here.
They then play The Prince Albert, Brighton on Sunday 27 January. Get tickets here.
The dates are preceded this month by a new singles compilation from Cherry Red, charting Billy's career since 1974. Singled Out is available to order here.
