Yeah, sometimes it takes us a while to get round to spreading the news, but trust us, this video from French garage-punk duo RUBBER LEGS is worth the wait...
Sloshing around in a sea of reverb like a Mandarin Daiquiri on a dancefloor at one of the B52's more orange clambakes, 'The Party' is taken from the duo's self-titled debut album.
Hailing from the city of Tours, Rubber Legs comprise Wareen - a go-to graphic designer responsible for their eyecatching artwork - and Fra, a veteran of the French punk scene as frontman of legends The Eternal Youth and Burning Heads.
The song's twistastic video, meanwhile, is the work of renowned filmmaker and videographer David Vallet, best known for his prolific Scopitone Is Not Dead series all over YouTube.
Definitely one for fans of The Courettes, Rubber Legs have the joy of opening for Vive favourites The Meffs and Split Dogs, as well as USA's The Darts, at the Cretin Party in La Boissière-de-Montaigu (near Nantes) on 10th October. Book your flights!
Out now through Adrenalin Fix, Stryckhnine Recordz, Banana Juice and Omnivox Records, Rubber Legs is available on vinyl and download here.
