THE B52'S and DEVO will be hooking up for two major UK shows this summer.
Brought to you by AEG presents and Forever Now, the two US New Wave legends will play The O2 in London on Saturday 20 June and Manchester’s AO Arena on Sunday 21 June. They'll be joined on both nights by THE REZILLOS and LENE LOVICH.
Known for their colourful and futuristic interpretation of post-punk via a string of indie disco floorfillers as vital as ever, The B52's and Devo reconnected after appearing on Saturday Night Live's 50th Anniversary Homecoming Concert before heading out across the US and Canada on the Cosmic De-Evolution Tour, which will see it's UK leg this summer.
Still featuring original co-founders Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson, these shows will mark The B52's first UK shows since 2019, while Devo - led by original members Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh and Gerald Casale - recently celebrated 50 Years Of De-Evolution.
Scottish contemporaries The Rezillos recently showed how exciting and vibrant they are on The Damned's 2022 reunion dates, while the formerly Stiff Records-signed 'Lucky Number' hitmaker Lene Lovich continues to command a loyal following.
