ASTRONAUTS TOUCH DOWN!

ASTRONAUTS TOUCH DOWN!

Legendary Hertfordshire psych-punks THE ASTRONAUTS are to play a super-rare London show next week.

Formed over forty years ago in Welwyn Garden City by frontman Mark Astronaut, the band released their debut EP in 1979 and have released numerous records on various labels over the years, notably The Mob's All The Madmen label, to whom they returned in 2013 for the single 'Typically English Day' and career-spanning compilation Urban Planning 1979-2013.

Along the way, they've shared stages with the likes of Hawkwind, Crass, Psychic TV, John Cooper Clarke, The Redskins, Dire Straits and Duran Duran!

Appearing at a special one-off occurrence of author Martin Dowsing's Dogfishtrombone nights at The Hope & Anchor in Islington on Wednesday 19 December, they're joined by MUR-MAN, PROPERTY an SPINMASTER PLANTPOT. Admission is a very reasonable £6 on the door.
