Following a successful string of summer shows, THE JIM JONES ALL STARS have revealed details of their debut single.
Originally recorded by Louisiana R&B legend Charles Sheffield, ‘It’s Your Voodoo Working’ was recorded earlier this year at Memphis Magnetic Studios in Memphis, Tennessee and features guest vocals from local R&B and rock'n'roll singer Nikki Hill.
"Exciting times!" says Jones. "This will be first blood for both Jim Jones All Stars and Ako-Lite Records – and ‘It’s Your Voodoo Working’ is the perfect addition to any Halloween playlist.”
Released on 7 October through Ako-Lite Records, ‘It’s Your Voodoo Working’ will be available via all major streaming and download platforms.
The band have announced a brace of dates including a very special London Hallowe'en show at Walthamstow Trades Hall with a variety of special guests. “It feels great to be back on home turf," says Jones. "The last London show sold out well in advance, so this time we’ve got a bigger venue. It’s a Saturday night and with buses and tubes running well after closing, this is going to be one hell of a Halloween! This is the one you’ve been waiting for!”
