ALARM FOUNDERS REUNITE!

ALARM FOUNDERS REUNITE!

The surviving founder-members of THE ALARM are to reunite for pair of London gigs this Summer.

Billed under the banner 'REUNION, the shows at The Garage, Highbury on 29th and 30th August will be the first time bassist Eddie Macdonald, guitarist Dave Sharp and drummer Nigel Twist have played together onstage since their VH1 reunion in 2003.

In the absence of original frontman Mike Peters, who passed away after a long battle with cancer in  April 2025, lead vocals will be performed by Robert Latimer of rising Coventry indie-rockers Candid.

The weekend will also feature special guest musicians, live Q&As and meet-and-greet opportunities.

"REUNION is an historic event that will honour the life, legacy and immense contribution that Mike Peters made to the music and spirit of The Alarm," say the band.

“With Rob on board, we are very excited to see how this new relationship develops as we explore the idea of taking REUNION around the globe,” sharp adds.

Tickets for the REUNION shows are on sale here.

Eddie Macdonald's ALARM 2.0 project, featuring guitarist James Stevenson and drummer Smiley Barnard, will also be playing shows in August - full dates here.
