THE GODFATHERS continue their 40th Anniversary celebrations with the announcement of a new compilation album.
Electric Déjà Vu brings together 18 tracks from the band's most recent three albums which have seen the band enjoy a revival in fortunes.
Released a full eighteen years after their previous studio album, 2013's Jukebox Fury saw the return of original Sid Presley Experience guitarist Del Bartle, the band working on tracks with legendary guitarist Bernie Tormé in the producer's chair.
Meanwhile, 2017's A Big Bad Beautiful Noise was widely praised with reviewers stating that it was their most consistent album since their major label debut 1988's Birth, School, Work, Death, the band reaffirming their position on international stages, highlighted by a showstopping performance at Spain's Azkena Festival.
Alpha Beta Gamma Delta, released in 2022, saw The Godfathers weather the Covid pandemic with an all-new line-up and songs exhibiting a new melodic depth and maturity, earning more rave reviews.
Set for release on 11 April, Electric Déjà Vu is available to pre-order here.
Further Anniversary year activity includes a new double A-side single scheduled for the Summer plus the release of an archive live album in September.
In the meantime, the band head off on a series of European dates this month, taking in Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Croatia and France. Full dates are...
