A NIGHT ON THE REPTILES!

A NIGHT ON THE REPTILES!

Yorkshire/Texas rockers 39th GATE OF HELL kick off the new year with another brand new single.

The distinctly Lynchian 'Cobra' is the band's seventh single and a very fine start to what is sure to be a successful year for the band.

“It was originally based an aggressive rap poem I wrote then Ash [Gray, guitarist], kınd of jokingly poppified it with an almost a nursery rhyme-ish melody,” says frontwoman Ayşe Balkose. “After playing and refining the song, it really became a little more sinister but lighter feeling at the same time.”

Based for the most part in Sheffield, the band spent the Autumn of last year in the US and will be returning to Austin in March for a series of shows at SXSW. Following this they expect to knuckle down on recording their debut album, with hopefully some festival shows thrown in.

'Cobra' is available to download now from Bandcamp.
