 3 DAYS TO GO - To the biggest celebration of Ska ever! <<<   www.londoninternationalskafestival.co.uk   >>>   THE LONDON INTL SKA FESTIVAL Only 3 days to go until The London Intl Ska Festival kicks off on 21st April 2011 and runs until 24th April 2011.  What promises to be the finest celebration of Ska the world has seen features 38 bands and DJs from 11 countries taking part.  Tickets have been sold to Brazil, Argentina, Qatar, Australia, Japan, USA, Russia, all over Europe and the UK.  Press and radio the world over have been previewing the festival making this a truly International event.  Doors open every night at 6pm and close 3am (2am on Sunday). Monday's show has now been broadcast and featured an interview with Dave Barker (voice of the legendary Dave & Ansel Collins). For the rest of this coming week listen out for a heap of classic ska & reggae being spun and interviews with Lynval Golding (The Specials) on Tuesday and Wednesday, foundation singer Owen Grey on Thursday and an hour long special in the company of Madness' Lee Thompson on Friday!! Marcia will still be appearing and headlining Day 4 of the festival.  Bob was admitted to hospital, and has undergone surgery.  We are pleased to say he is currently doing much better and is out of intensive care, but has not yet left hospital and naturally unable to fly.  We hope you will join us in wishing him a very speeding recovering, and look forward to having him at the London Intl Ska Festival 2012.
