1919 ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM!

Bradford post-punks 1919 issue their second studio album next month - 33 years after their first!
Initially formed in 1980, the band were linked to the nascent Goth movement, thanks to their heavy, melodic, intense dance music and at one time featured a pre-ZODIAC MINDWARP Mark Manning. They released three indie hit singles and the Earth Song EP, as well as the 1984 debut album Machine.
Founder and guitarist Mark Tighe convened a new line-up in 2014 and, joined by early drummer Mick Reed, began playing several European dates before signing to Westworld Recordings for the release of new material. With work on the new album Bloodline completed, however, Tighe was diagnosed with cancer and sadly passed away earlier this year.
Bloodline is set for release by Westworld on 17 March. It's available to pre-order here.
Friends and fans of the band can also make donations to Marie Curie Yorks & Humber in Mark's honour.
