LIVING END NEWS

 THE LIVING END have had so many big and exciting things happen since our last news update. All off the back of their brilliant The Ending is Just the Beginning Repeating album. Here is a brief recap of all the big things going on in camp TLE...                          The Ending is Just the Beginning Repeating Tour knocked off audience's socks the country over last month, TLE pulling out their trademark high energy, noisy and downright blistering live show. The Big Day Out celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2012, and it is only fitting that The Living End hop aboard the world's greatest travelling festival to help ring it in. Announced last week, this is one HUGE festival line-up, and with the likes of Soundgarden, Kanye West, Hilltop Hoods, My Chemical Romance, Foster the People and many, many more on board, tickets are going to move quick smart. The Living End found time last month to record a very left of centre cover song for another 20th anniversary celebration - this time for The Wiggles. Announced last week, Re-Wiggled is a tribute album for legendary children's performers The Wiggles, jam packed with Australian talent making their own mark on the groups most loved songs. The Living End sped up and rocked out on Hot Potato, check out who else is on board and all other details here.                           Last week saw two very impressive live TV performances from TLE. The AFL Footy Show hosted the band on Thursday night to perform current single Song for the Lonely along with a special hits packed medley to close out the show. This was backed up with a very early Friday morning start, the band performing Song for the Lonely and White Noise on the AFL Grand Final Sunrise live broadcast (watch some of the footage from that one here.)                            Throughout the rest of the year and leading into a mammoth Big Day Out, The Living End have a nifty list of other live shows that are rapidly approaching.
