London glam-punks THE DeRELLAS are preparing a new album and once again they're inviting their legion of fans to chip in.
The follow-up to 2021's Something's Got To Give, the new album Trust Me, This Is Going To Hurt will be the first with new members, guitarist Jez Miller and drummer Steve Grainger joining mainstays Timmy and Luca, and once again will be recorded at Pat Collier's Perry Vale Studios.
With the songs written, roadtested and ready to go, the band have set up a Kickstarter campaign to cover the costs, with various rewards on offer, ranging from pre-orders of downloads, CDs and vinyl to the chance to have your own personal, private performance from the band.
"With a darker edge than Something's Got to Give, Trust Me, This Is Going to Hurt is fishnets and fag ends, heartaches and hangovers. It's a glam-punk goldmine," say the band. "We've funded two our of earlier albums through Kickstarter. Your support has kept us independent, we've built a community of great people around the world who are more than just fans, you're our friends and your belief in us means everything."
