New psych/powerpop outfit THE STRANGE ENCOUNTERS are releasing their debut single today and are premiering the video with Vive Le Rock!
The Berlin-based duo comprise Glasgow musician Joe Armstrong, a veteran of numerous bands, including stints with Nikki Sudden and Dave Kusworth in the Jacobites and Last Bandits, along with fellow songwriter Guido Kreutzmüller of Berlin's Berlin‘s underground heroes The Say Highs, who've shared stages with the likes of Kula Shaker, The Posies, TV Smith and loads more.
Glistening with Big Star-style powerpop jangle, building to a psychedelic climax, 'Recognize' is taken from the pair's debut album All In The Mind, which is out through Ports Of Call Music on 7 June.
